New Marimekko prints on Finnair

Love the distinctive Finnish fabric design Marimekko?

So does Finnair and its passengers.

The airline has just introduced two new stunning Marimekko amenity kit collection in Finnair’s business class.

They are the white/grey coloured Lokki and white/green coloured Silkkikuikka.

The amenity kits and slippers are part of the successful Finnair and Marimekko exclusive design collaboration which was launched in 2012.

The Marimekko prints and colours are inspired by Nordic nature.

Three different prints are offered to regular Business Class guests throughout the year and frequent travellers are encouraged to see them as a designer collection item rather than just a one-time-use kit.

This also incorporates the environmental aspect of sustaining instead of throwing away. Inside the kit passengers find Clarins cosmetic products and they also receive slippers in Marimekko prints.
