The Rees Hotel’s very popular Culinary Series goes from strength to strength with the next Series a delicious marriage between True South Dining Room, the Rees Hotel’s fine dining venue, and fine Marlborough Wines from Loveblock.
On Friday 17 April, 2015, indulge in a five-course degustation menu with a selection of six exquisite wines from Loveblock.
Founded by Erica and Kim Crawford, Loveblock was forged from a love affair with a view and a challenge. Perched high on the hills overlooking Marlborough’s Awatere Valley, Loveblock is far removed from the agricultural bustle below. At Loveblock, Erica and Kim are charged with creating the best wine to express this extraordinary place and its unique aspect. As they converted the sheep paddock to plantable land, they took the decision to tackle Organics, a cause that is deeply personal to them.
