Vomo’s new look

VOMO Island Resort reopened its doors in March 2015 following an extensive renovation to build on its world-class reputation. All Hillside and Beachfront Villas received a total makeover to bathrooms and bedrooms featuring chic handcrafted furnishings made exclusively for the resort, with bespoke daybeds, coff ee tables, mirror frames, cabana and new decks for the swimming pool and Rocks Bar. The resort’s signature Rocks Bar received an upgraded bar as well, allowing guests to enjoy cocktails and the world-famous Fijian sunsets in style. May 2015 will see the debut of an open-air show kitchen emphasising healthy grilled fare with international infl uences from Japanese Robata to Tandoori ovens, and a raw bar off ering local specialties from the Pacifi c Rim. This adults-only culinary theatre will be open on selected evenings throughout the week for dining and each evening for sunset cocktails and complimentary canapés. Also in May, a new state-of-the-art kitchen in the main house will be completed.
