Château Terre Blanch could be your dream French holiday

Rent your dream French Château

The idea of staying in a beautiful chateau in the French countryside, drinking wine and devouring exquisite French cuisine, appeals to almost everyone.
Château Terre Blanch might be just what you have dreamed about. This Australian-owned Château is situated in the medieval village of Chalabre in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in Southern France, and has been renovated with style and love by renowned Australian Interior Designer, Beverley Gibson.
It is available for rent all year round with four lavish oversized bedrooms that sleep eight people, with ensuite bathrooms, original fireplaces, ornate ceilings, silk drapes and luxurious beds with the finest of linen draped in embroidered silks and velvets. For families or larger groups, there is an option for more accommodation upon request.
Living areas comprise a Library, Blue Salon, Grand Salon with Baroque hand-carved wooden fireplace, Gymnasium and Dining room with flowing South facing outdoor terrace, perfect for alfresco dining.
Outside, guests can stroll around the manicured parterre gardens or lounge around the pool while admiring the views of the Pyrenees. It is completely private as it ringed by high stone walls.
A stay in the chateau will be enhanced by the services of Angus, the Australian household manager who is a butler and concierge in one. Angus will organise everything for you, taking you on a gastronomic adventure, sharing his hidden secrets, and meeting local friends who are the winemakers and chefs of the region. Cultural and historic tours can also be arranged, including visits to La Cite de Carcassonne.
You will also enjoy menus created by Michelin-star chef, Jean-Marc Boyer of Le Puits de Tresor, with each of the chefs trained by Jean Marc to reproduce his menus in the Chateau’s kitchen. You can even organise a cooking class with Jean-Marc.
