InterContinental to open soon in Double Bay

Sydney will have a new star come November when the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay is unveiled in the hallowed harbourside suburb of Double Bay. The hotel, formerly the Ritz Carlton, has been completely restored and sets the bar for glamour and subtle elegance.

The hotel will have 140 guestrooms suites with beautifully reinstated original features including Italian white marble bathrooms and European fashioned balconies, complemented with a contemporary design twist. Stunning views abound over Double Bay village, the tranquil bay or the internal French provincial styled courtyard. The14 Executive Suites and the spectacular Royal Suite boast floor to ceiling views of Double Bay.

Sydney’s A-listers as well as hotel guests will make a beeline for the rooftop of the hotel, which will feature an infinity pool and lounge area complete with cabanas and stunning views over the water.

It will be the only five star property outside the CBD, and will offer WiFi, 24-hour in-room dining, top class restaurant and bars, valet car parking and a dedicated concierge team.
