Sue Wallace claims another Award

Sue Wallace, one half of The Finer Things team, claimed a major travel writing award on Saturday night when she won the Media Award for best cruise story at the Australian Cruise Industry Awards.

The Awards – the night of nights for the Australian cruise industry and hosted by the Cruise Lines Industry Association – were held at the Star Event Centre with the sell-out gala featuring a show-stopping performance by one of Australia’s leading performers, Tina Arena, on a night which saw a total of 19 winners announced across nine categories.

Sue Wallace won the Media Award for her story “Vikings Were Here” which appeared in The Australian.  The story is about a cruise through the Norwegian fjords on board Holland America Line’s MS Eurodam.

The Finer Things team are so very proud of our Sue.
