Having trouble sleeping – head to COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali.
Its first, The Sleep Awakening workshop will be held in May led by renowned sleep consultant Tristian Kelly.
This six-day, five-night workshop from May 17 to 22 2018 will help guests take control of their sleeping patterns, with each day comprising 180-minutes of daily group coaching sessions with Tristian, as well as one-on-one consultations.
Tristian is the author of Three Weeks to Better Sleep, and the soon-to-be-published Diary of an Insomniac.
She brings a wealth of experience to COMO Shambhala Estate having spent 20 years looking for a cure to her own chronic insomnia.
Tristian graduated in psychology from Sydney University, and then trained as a naturopath, nutritionist, Western herbal medicine practitioner and homeopath.
When she managed to finally achieve restful sleep in her own life, she turned to working empathetically to help others achieve the same at her Australian sleep clinic, Counting Seashells.
Tristian’s workshop in Bali will look into the science of sleep, and teach a range of sleeping strategies to help with bouts of insomnia.
Personalised Sleep Programs
She will also identify guests’ individual anxiety triggers, and then craft personalised sleep programs which they can use to aid their sleep when they return home from the workshop. There will be discussions on how food and nutrition can support good sleep, as well as daily inspiration provided by the COMO Shambhala kitchen.
Relaxing body treatments, yoga and outdoor activities will also help engender real results, with COMO Shambhala Estate’s private villas, rooms and suites set among peaceful Balinese jungle where nature’s presence helps guests to reboot their sleeping cycles and circadian rhythms.
