Following sold-out cruises on Aria Amazon with the legendary conservationist in 2017 and in February 2018, travellers will have another opportunity to join these fascinating hosted departures in October 2018.
Amazon Cruises
As the single largest tropical rainforest in the world, the enchanting Amazon has long enticed explorers seeking out the most magical of birds, fish, trees and plants – “a place with undiscovered secrets waiting to unveil its magic”, as Jean-Michel describes.
During these exclusive departures, guests will experience the rich Amazon from the perspective of a conservationist and get to know Jean-Michel in the intimacy of a small group of fellow travellers.

Led by Jean-Michel and the fabulous local guides aboard Aria Amazon, guests will learn first-hand about what makes these regions just so precious.
Twice-daily excursions afford guests the opportunity to meet an indigenous community, head deep into the jungle in search of rare wildlife specific to the region and hit the local fresh markets.
There will also be the chance to see good work in action at the Manatee Rescue Centre in Iquitos, which rescues and rehabilitates orphaned Amazon manatees – one of various projects Aqua Expeditions supports.
